Project Jade is a newly announced Assassin's Creed mobile game; here is everything we know, including the release date and trailer.
It was a big weekend for the Assassin's Creed franchise, with a large portion of the Ubisoft Forward showcase dedicated to the stealth RPG.
Alongside a first (official) look at Assassin's Creed Mirage and more information about Assassin's Creed Infinity, we also got confirmation that the franchise is going mobile with the announcement of Assassin's Creed Project Jade.
Set in 215 BC China, Assassin's Creed Project Jade promises to bring the same mix of stealth, RPG, and open-world gameplay to mobile and follows fellow Ubisoft IPs, Rainbow Six and The Division, in coming to the platform.

Assassin's Creed Project Jade - Release Date
Sadly, there is no publically available release date for Assassin's Creed Project Jade, with the teaser trailer we were offered up only promising that it is "coming soon to mobile."
Based on the lack of available information, a release date this side of the year is highly unlikely, and instead, we are likely to see some form of closed alpha/beta testing in Q2 2023.
Assassin's Creed Project Jade - Gameplay And Trailer
This isn't the first time that the Assassin's Creed franchise has come to mobile, though few have had the ambition of Project Jade.
Billed as the "first open-world" Assassin's Creed game, Project Jade will see players explore the depths of ancient China during the Qin dynasty in the 3rd century BC, with the ability to "parkour atop the Great Wall of China, sneak through bustling cities, engage in intense combat, and discover the secrets, the vastness, of ancient China."
It also promises "touch-optimized controls" and the ability to create your very own character - a first for an Assassin's Creed game.
We will continue to update this page with more information as Assassin's Creed Project Jade sneaks closer to release.
