What Does Excavate Keyword Do In Hearthstone
During battles, a card with the Excavate Keyword can get you treasures from the Azerite Mine, which are nothing cards with rarities that can improve different aspects of your card.
These Treasures that you get from using the Excavate Keyword in Hearthstone are officially known as Excavate Treasure. Moreover, they can only be obtained through Excavate and cannot be collected.
How Does Excavate Work In Hearthstone
Whenever you use Excavate during a match, you will get a random 1-cost Common Treasure, which is nothing but a card.
That said, when you use Excavate for the second time in the same match, you get a random 2-cost Rare Treasure.
Similarly, using Excavate for the third time will give you a random 3-cost Epic Treasure.
The third Excavate Treasure will reset the Keyword counter, and the next Excavate you use will again give you a 1-cost Common Treasure. And so, the cycle continues.
