Merge Mansion has finally crossed 50 Million downloads on Android and iOS, combined with a new studio in Berlin, focusing on the game along with new IPs to come.
The Helsinki-based game development company Metacore released their mystery puzzle game, Merge Mansion, back in 2020. Since then, the game has seen growth with no major setbacks, and now, it has finally crossed 50 Million downloads across the Android and iOS platforms, with over 20% of its active users playing the game more than ten times a day, making it a massive hit.
Along with crossing the 50 Million downloads, Metacore has also announced its expansion to Berlin, the first location abroad for one of Europe’s fastest-growing game companies.

Last year, Metacore generated €129 million in revenue, and is continuing its strong growth this year supported by its second location.

Berlin will initially serve as a home base for a newly established feature team working on Metacore’s first hit game Merge Mansion, a puzzle game that has charmed fans across the world with its mysterious characters, captivating story, and lore. The game's marketing has become an internet sensation of its own, leveraging Hollywood talent such as Kathy Bates and Pedro Pascal in its campaigns. “While the first team on the ground in Berlin will initially focus on Merge Mansion, we currently have multiple games under development and are constantly looking for new talent to help us create and bring new games to the market,” Tammenkoski continues.
