Pokémon GO Content Update (December 2023): Raids, Events & Bonuses

December marks the beginning of a new season in Pokémon GO titled 'Timeless Travels'. Offering players novel events and seasonal rotations, it will be available in the game between December 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024.

Besides this, December also welcomes in a new month of exciting content to Pokémon GO. This month's featured Pokémon is the snowcone-shaped Vanillite. Expect a variety of raids, events, and bonuses to be available this month.

Five-Star Raids

Four Five-Star Raids will be available in Pokémon GO this month. They will start and end at 10 am local time on the dates mentioned below.

Here are this month's Five-Star Raids:

• December 1 – 9: Reshiram
• December 9 – 16: Zekrom
• December 16 – 23: Kyurem
• December 23 – January 1: Regigigas

Mega Raids

Four weekly Mega Raids will take place in December. Similar to Five-Star Raids, they will start and end at 10 am local time on the dates mentioned below.

Here are this month's Mega Raids:

• December 1 – 9: Mega Scizor
• December 9 – 16: Mega Altaria
• December 16 – 23: Mega Abomasnow
• December 23 – January 1: Mega Glalie

You have a chance of encountering a Shiny one if you are lucky.

Raid Hours

December will see Four Raid Hours take place. As usual, these will be held between 6 – 7 pm local time.

Here are this month's Raid Hours:

• December 6: Reshiram
• December 13: Zekrom
• December 20: Kyurem
• December 27: Regigigas

In addition to this, Shadow Zapdos will appear in Shadow Raids during weekends this month.

Spotlight Hours

Four Spotlight Hours will be held this. They will occur between the usual hours of 6 – 7 pm local time.

Here are this month's Spotlight Hours:

• December 5: Feebas (2x Catch Candy)
• December 12: Seel (2x Transfer Candy)
• December 19: Snorunt (2x Evolution XP)
• December 26: Vanillite (2x Catch Stardust)
