Street Fighter: Duel only came out last week, but it has quickly established itself as one of the better idle RPGs on the market.
That is undoubtedly helped by the use of the Street Fighter IP, with the game featuring over 40 beloved characters from the series, which players can use to build out their rosters, creating cross-character combos and synergies.
The game's early success can also be put down to just how much there is to do: there's an extensive character progression and item system, a storyline mode with plenty of boss battles, events, missions, and tasks. There is even a PvP mode where you can test your mettle against other players.
Now as players progress through the game, they are coming up against some hurdles, one, in particular, being how to 'quick collect.'
Quick collect is a mechanic in Street Fighter: Duel that allows you to speed up the idle progress, enabling you to earn resources faster than you usually would. The first time you do, it will likely be at the behest of one of the tasks in the game, and many have found themselves at a loss on how to complete it.

How To Quick Collect In Street Fighter: Duel
As you progress through Street Fighter: Duel, you will receive a task that asks you to use the quick collect mechanic. This task appears once you reach Stage 4-1 in the game.
However, this task has left many players confused because it's not immediately clear how to use quick collect.
Thankfully, it is actually pretty easy, only made difficult because of a poorly positioned button and some confusing naming conventions. To learn how to quick collect, follow the instructions below:
- Once in the game, click on the 'Challenge' menu, found at the bottom-right of the screen.
- Look to the left of the flashing 'GO'; you should see a 'sand timer' icon (if you can't see the sand timer icon, you haven't unlocked the quick collect mechanic yet). Click on the sand timer icon to bring up a box labeled 'Fast Gains'.
- Fasts gains is quick collect. Here you can spend gems to increase the idle resource gather rate. Do this once to complete the task.
We are unsure why quick collect suddenly becomes fast gains at this point, though it is pretty confusing.
It may be something that's slipped through the cracks during the localization process, and an update will see it uniformly take the name quick collect or fast gains, but until then, at least you know how to complete the task.
