The Waterborne Poetry is a new time-exclusive event in Genshin Impact that offers a variety of game modes that unlock over time, in which players can take part and complete different challenges to obtain free exclusive currency, Poetry Gala Fervor to claim lucrative rewards, including a four-star Catalyst, Ballad of the Boundless Blue.

Genshin Impact Waterborne Poetry Event Schedule
The Waterborne Poetry event in Genshin Impact will go live on October 12, 2023, at 10:00 server time and will end on October 30, 2023, at 3:59 server time.

During the event duration, we will get three Quest Acts and four Phases of gameplay, which will unlock as per the below schedule:
Quest Start Time
Below, you can find the official schedule for all the Quest Acts offered in the Waterborne Poetry event.
Act I
- Start date: October 12, 2023
- Start time: 10:00 server time
Act II
- Start date: October 14, 2023
- Start time: 4:00 server time
Act III
- Start date: October 16, 2023
- Start time: 4:00 server time
Gameplay Start Time
As mentioned earlier, there are four different phases of gameplay offered in the Waterborne Poetry event, which will unlock at the below date and time:
Phase I
- Start date: October 12, 2023
- Start time: 10:00 server time
Phase II
- Start date: October 14, 2023
- Start time: 4:00 server time
Phase III
- Start date: October 16, 2023
- Start time: 4:00 server time
Phase IV
- Start date: October 18, 2023
- Start time: 4:00 server time
Note: All the phases and the entire event will end on October 30, 2023, at 3:59 server time.
How To Unlock Waterborne Poetry Event In Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact, you can unlock the Waterborne Poetry event by fulfilling the below prerequisites:
- You must be at Adventure Rank 20 or above
- You must have completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, "Song of the Dragon and Freedom"
Apart from the above prerequisites, Hoyoverse also recommends players complete Archon Quest Chapter I: Act III, "A New Star Approaches," to get the best experience.
Genshin Impact Waterborne Poetry Event Complete Guide
The Waterborne Poetry event will feature three Story Acts that you can start from the event page or the Quest Journal.
Apart from the Story Acts, there will be three different gameplay modes: Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites, Inspiration Eruption, and Mending Painting Prospects.
Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites
In the Hundred-Pace Hurling Rites game mode, you must throw darts at Holding Pots to use their special traits to obtain a high score.
Inspiration Eruption
In the Inspiration Eruption game mode, you must defeat enemies to obtain Inspiring Crystals, which then you can use to access the Crystals rupture for defeating the "pesky Mythic Nexuses blocking the flow of inspiration."
Mending Painting Prospects
In the Mending Painting Prospects game mode, you must help an NPC visit different areas to take pictures of key objects for his painting and admire the different artworks presented to you.
Note: The event is not yet live. We will update this section after playing the event.
When you take part in these three game modes and complete the associated challenges, you earn the event exclusive currency, Poetry Gala Fervor, required for claiming rewards from the event store.
Genshin Impact Waterborne Poetry Event Rewards
You can use the Poetry Gala Fervor to claim rewards like the free four-star Catalyst, Ballad of the Boundless Blue and its refinement materials, Crown of Insight, character level-up materials, and other such rewards from the event store that you can access from the Waterborne Poetry event page.
