In EA FC Mobile, The World's Game is a special tournament mode that allows players to experience the competitiveness of international soccer on a massive scale.
Inspired by the excitement surrounding global competitions like the FIFA World Cup, this game mode features over 50 national teams, cinematic broadcast presentations, custom tournament brackets, and immersive stadium atmospheres. It was last available in 2022 and has returned to the game in 2026.

How "The World's Game" Mode Works in EA FC Mobile
First, choose the national team you wish to represent in The World's Game. Each team has been updated with the latest national kits, star ratings, flag-themed Player Items, and ICONs and Heroes.
Then, select the tournament difficulty. There are five difficulty levels: Beginner, Amateur, Semi-Pro, Professional, and World Class. Naturally, if you want something more casual, then you should go for Amateur or Semi-Pro. Should you want more of a challenge, then Professional and World Class may be the ideal levels for you.
Following this, you can jump into setting the competition's schedule. The tournament begins with the Round of 16 rather than the traditional group stage. You can customize which sixteen teams take part in this stage of the competition. You can also hit the shuffle button to get a random assignment of nations.
Once that's all sorted, you can finally kick off The World's Game mode. You can select your best squad (which can include a combination of current and ICON players) and team formation in each round. Your ultimate goal? To reach the Final and win the cup, of course.
Other New Features for The World's Game
The World's Game has been upgraded with a bunch of new immersive additions and features.
The gameplay takes a step up with a new stadium — complete with a custom design and updated lighting — and celebrations, which include Ronaldinho's iconic celebration.
The broadcast experience is also improved, with a new interface for cinematic videos available for use.
