EA FC Mobile TOTY 24: Nominee Paths, Icon Evolutions, UTOTY & More

It's that time of year again and everyone's favorite EA FC Mobile event is back – the Team of the Year (TOTY). Each year, a new team is announced and it consists of the best players in the world.

The selected TOTY players receive a shiny blue design and massively upgraded stats that will make them one of the best in the game. You will certainly want to get your hands on them.

For this year's team, there are a few key favorites who have been chosen thanks to their stellar performances in both league and cup competitions.

With the TOTY 24 event upon us, we've gathered everything we know about it so far including all the confirmed cards, how you can unlock them, and the various chapters.

EA FC Mobile TOTY 24 Schedule

The EA FC Mobile TOTY 24 event will begin on January 25, 2024.

It will be a five-week-long event and will end on February 29, 2024. Throughout the event, new content such as Chapters, players, and Exchanges will be released. This is certainly going to be an event that's full of things to look forward to.

All Confirmed TOTY 24 Cards

The full TOTY 24 team has been revealed and it's spectacular. Unsurprisingly, the team showcases four Manchester City players as they completed a historic treble in 2023. Lionel Messi also makes an appearance after winning the most recent Ballon d'Or. Other players such as Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé make an appearance thanks to their incredible individual performances.

A mystery 12th TOTY Player will be released sometime during the event. Though no hints have been revealed as to who that player is, many believe that it could be Cristiano Ronaldo as he had a great year with Al-Nassr in 2023.

There are various TOTY nominee cards that you will be able to obtain throughout the event as well.

In addition to the TOTY 24 team, there are the TOTY Icons. A new team of five players will be released each week until the end of the event. So in total, you can expect 25 TOTY Icons to be announced.

A new TOTY Icon team is released every Thursday UTC during the event.

Nominee Paths & Reward Paths

On the Nominee Path, you will be able to take part in the Challenge Road, earn TOTY Tickets, and exchange these Tickets for rewards at the Reward Path. Altogether, there are three Nominee Paths: A, B, and C. A new Nominee Path will be released each week.

The challenges consist of skill games and matches that you can complete to earn TOTY Challenge Progress Points. You can refresh the challenges available, but bear in mind that there is a limit of three refreshes per day.

You need to earn at least 100 of the TOTY Challenge Progress Points a day to collect 100 TOTY Tickets.

These TOTY Tickets can be spent at the Reward Path. It consists of a track where you can purchase exciting rewards such as Gems, Coins, TOTY Nominee cards, Mixed Version Player Packs, and more.

UTOTY

In the UTOTY chapter, you will be introduced to Nominee Achievement Milestones.These milestones consist of challenges that you can complete to earn rewards.

Each week, a new Nominee Achievement Milestone will be released. There will be three Milestones in total, with each connected to their respective Nominee Path.

Once you complete all three Milestones, you can choose one of three final rewards: A 94 OVR Alisson, a 94 OVR Jeremie Frimpong, or a random 92-97 OVR TOTY player.

Icon Evolutions

In this chapter, you can choose one of three TOTY Icons – a 93 OVR Fabio Cannavaro, a 93 OVR Frank Lampard, or a 93 OVR Rivaldo – to start your Icon Evolution.

From there, you will receive a base Icon version of the player you selected. Your goal in Icon Evolutions is to win matches at the Gameplay Arena to unlock Exchanges that gradually level up your Icon to a better version.

For example with Rivaldo, you will start with the base 85 OVR Icon, move onto an 87 OVR, upgrade to a 90 OVR, and finally end with a 93 OVR Icon Evolution. These upgrades depend on the number of wins you get.

The Gameplay Arena is where you are able to play matches and earn wins that help you evolve your Icon. An important thing to note is that you are limited to a maximum of 15 wins per week. You need 40 wins to upgrade your Icon to its TOTY Icon version.

Each day, you are given three free Energy Points. You can spend these Energy Points to play either a PvE match, a VS Attack (VSA) match, or a Head-to-Head match. Winning or drawing a match will reward you with various Trophies. No Trophies will be rewarded if you lose the match.

You can spend these Trophies at the Trophy Exchange for items such as Standard and Ultra player packs.

TOTY Star Pass

In the TOTY 24 Star Pass, you can earn a 94 OVR TOTY Nominee version of Kevin De Bruyne when you reach Level 60.

Regular rewards such as Coins, Gems, Emotes, cards, and more will be available too.

TOTY Exchange

Several new Exchanges will be available where you can trade in players you have for another.

New Exchanges will be released throughout the event.

TOTY Quests

During the event, you will be able to complete Daily Quests, Weekly Quests, TOTY Quests, and TOTY Exchange Quests. The rewards you earn here could prove useful in obtaining a TOTY card.

Though these are standard Quests, we recommend you complete the new Daily Exchange Quest which can reward you with a TOTY Standard Pack.

TOTY Challenge Mode

Similar to the Winter Wildcards event, you can complete the TOTY Daily Challenge to get rewards.

Weekend Challenges will return during the TOTY event, with the OVRs of rewards slightly increased. Take this opportunity to get yourself some impressive cards.
