Heartopia features a wide range of activities, including Fishing, that you can take part in to upgrade your Fishing Level, complete your Fish Collection, progress and complete associated quests and other such things.

To increase your Fishing Efficiency fast, you must use Bait to spawn Fish in the different water bodies found all around the game's open world.

But the issue is, the game doesn't exactly tell you how to use Bait. Moreover, during the quest, Fishing: Bait, you are tasked to "Head to the water area and use Bait," with no tutorial on using Bait.

How To Get Bait In Heartopia

To unlock Bait, you must complete the Request: Cat on the Roof, which you can get from Vanya.

Once you do that, you get the Bait crafting recipe from her. After you learn it, you can craft the Bait at any crafting table.

That aside, completing the quest also unlocks Bait in Vanya's Shop Menu.

How To Use Bait In Heartopia

To use Bait in the game, tap on the 'Bag' icon found on the right side of the game screen.

You can also press the 'B' key if you are playing the game on PC via TapTap.

After that, select and tap on the Bait from the list of all items.

Once done, click on the 'Chum' button. Doing so will throw the Bait.
