Mobile games might look casual and fun on the surface, but some communities are anything but friendly. From endless trash talk to elitist clans and stat-obsessed teammates, toxicity shows up everywhere! Here are 15 of the worst offenders in the mobile gaming scene.
15 of the Most Toxic Mobile Gaming Communities
The dark side of mobile gaming...
15. World of Tanks Blitz
World of Tanks Blitz players love to fixate on win rate, and it fuels a lot of toxicity. Even after dropping big damage and carrying, low-rate accounts still get spammed with hate messages from teammates who barely contributed. It’s a 7v7 game, not a 1v1, but plenty of players act like stats mean everything and use them as an excuse to trash others.

14. Brawl Stars
Brawl Stars has a wholesome community online, but in-game matches tell a different story. Players constantly show bad sportsmanship for no real reason, making it tough to just enjoy a round. Most of it comes from kids spamming pins and trying to be funny, so the only real option is muting and hoping the next match is better.

13. Tower of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasy has a reputation for toxic crews that let their rankings go to their heads. Top groups often act elitist, calling lower-CC players “peasants” or “poor” while flexing their whale status. Mix that with cliques, rival game drama, and frustration over gacha mechanics, and it’s easy to see why the community feels so negative.

12. Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal’s community is often called one of the most toxic on mobile, mostly because of how the game is built. The pay-to-win model splits whales from free players, fueling elitism and constant power struggles. Clan politics, rigged alliances, and public chats full of spam and trash talk make servers feel more like a middle school fight than a competitive RPG.

11. Hearthstone
Hearthstone’s community has a bad rep for elitism, with top-ranked players gatekeeping and trash-talking anyone they don’t see as “worthy”. Some take it further, adding opponents just to gloat after a win and then blocking them before they can even reply. Between the cronyism at higher levels and the petty name-calling in casual play, it’s easy to see why many call the game toxic.

10. Roblox
Roblox toxicity really depends on the server you land in and the people around you. With so many younger players, there’s a lot of judging based on whether someone buys Robux or sticks with the default look. The community also gets divided by things like join dates, avatars, or game interests, which fuels plenty of elitism and trash talk.

9. EA FC Mobile
EA FC Mobile is packed with kids and hackers, which makes the community feel messy most of the time. A lot of younger players can’t afford the console versions, so they flock to the free one and bring plenty of immaturity with them. Matches often end with spamming negative emotes from players who finally win, acting like they’ve just taken home a trophy.

8. Among Us
Among Us started as lighthearted fun, but public lobbies these days can feel more toxic than the reactor you’re fixing. Players throw around slurs, harass others over the smallest things, and even tell people to quit life over something as dumb as a nameplate. The mix of deception gameplay and a mostly random player base makes public matches a minefield, which is why most people stick to playing with friends.

7. League of Legends: Wild Rift
League of Legends: Wild Rift isn’t as toxic as regular League of Legends, but it’s definitely rougher than most other mobile games. You still see plenty of blaming and ego trips, though there are also moments where players are genuinely friendly and supportive. Compared to PC League, it feels a lot calmer, but it still has more negativity than most gaming communities, which is why many just mute chat and focus on the game.

6. PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile voice chat is infamous for being a mess. Leave it on “All” and you’ll hear nonstop trash talk before you can even mute it. Players go beyond just flaming teammates, with plenty of hate thrown at people who play other games, too. It’s the kind of environment that makes most people switch comms off completely just to enjoy a match.

5. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has a reputation for being even harsher than big-name PC titles like League of Legends or Valorant. Players constantly flame junglers and marksmen just minutes into a match, ignoring how early and late game roles actually work. Add in a weak report system and teammates chasing kills instead of playing objectives, and it’s no surprise so many call this the most toxic mobile community out there.

4. Clash of Clans
Clash of Clans has a community that often feels more angry than supportive, especially with players frustrated over long stretches without real balance changes. Offense keeps getting buffed while defenses are left behind, so forums and chats are full of people venting and lashing out. In clan chats, it’s not unusual to see bullying or harsh language, turning what should be teamwork into a status game.

3. Call of Duty: Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobile ranked matches, especially in Search and Destroy, can turn toxic fast. One slip-up and teammates start throwing insults, which only fuels more rage across the lobby. Some players have admitted they stop trying altogether when the criticism gets too low, proving how easily toxic energy drags the whole team down.

2. Clash Royale
Clash Royale should be all about fun matches and good sportsmanship, but the emote spamming makes it brutal at times. Losing isn’t the problem—it’s getting hit with a flood of crying faces and “HEHEHEHA” every time you drop a game. With those emotes unlocked right from the start, it feels like most players just want to tilt you into breaking your phone.

1. Genshin Impact
The Genshin Impact community can be rough—people get harassed, stalked, and even sent death threats over things that usually aren’t that serious. Sharing a different opinion is enough to get you dragged, and plenty of players have quit because of it. That’s why a lot of fans, me included, just play the game without bothering with the community.
