Sword of Justice offers a wide range of classes or Martial Schools that define the core traits, team roles, DPS, and other such aspects while playing the game.

While the classes in the game may sound different, they fit into the usual archetypes like Assassin, Summoner, etc, with some nuances.

That said, since the game is finally available globally, for new players hopping into it or the old ones looking to play a different class, our Sword of Justice tier list will come in handy.

Sword of Justice offers six major Schools or Classes, whatever you like to call them. These are:

  1. Nightwaker
  2. Ironclad
  3. Bloodstrom
  4. Celestune
  5. Sylph
  6. Numina

Here's a detailed look at all the classes based on the developer description and our own take.

Nightwaker

The Nightwaker is the best class for players who like speed, precision, and deadly finesse.

  • Fastest attack speed: While other Schools land a single strike, Nightwaker's [Thousand Strikes] slashes twelve. The exclusive [Silverblade Dreamscape] combo just keeps accelerating, until your screen floods with blade trails and damage ticks.
  • Fastest mobility skills: With [Meteor Chasing Moon], [Endless - Flash], [Jing Ke's Dagger], and [Swallowwind], you can reach any corner of the battlefield in just one second.
  • Fastest reaction time: Perfectly timed [Swift] grants instant invulnerability. [Dream Veil] lets you cleanse and vanish. Add the "Veil of Clouds" trait, and you'll slip past even the deadliest strikes.

Ironclad

Ironclad is the best class for players who like to play the Tank role and favour stability and strength

  • Heavy-armored warrior: Unyielding and relentless, Ironclads deal steady damage, control the field, and dominate the battlefield.
  • Unrivaled defense: No other school comes close. Even in epic boss fights, Ironclad holds an unbreakable line with sheer resilience.
  • Backbone of any team: As the main tank, Ironclad absorbs damage and boosts allies' defense.
    • With powerful crowd control, they lock down bosses and create safe zones for their team. In dungeons or team fights, your team won't last long without an Ironclad holding the front line.

Bloodstrom

Bloodstrom is a sort of all-arounder class that may fall short in Range but provides high mobility, high damage, and high durability. Best for solo players.

  • Unique spear combos: Bloodstrom fights with two core attacks—Thrust and Swing—which branch into six powerful follow-ups. Expect AoE bursts, gap closers, knock-ups, stuns, slows, meridian seals, and more.
  • Exclusive mounted combat: Mount up with "Iron Cavalry" to gain a major boost in mobility. While mounted, "Thrust" and "Swing" transform into entirely new, more powerful forms.
  • Specialized group combat: Many of Bloodstrom's skills scale with enemy count, gaining increased shielding or healing. "Heartfelt Might" heals more when surrounded by foes, while "Overlord's Command" taunts enemies and reduces their damage, making Bloodstrom an indispensable off-tank in team fights.

Celestune

Celestune is a great class for mobbing and general crowd control. Think of it as a Mage but with TUNE.

If you like ranged combat, crowd control, and tactical versatility, Celestune is the right pick for you.

  • Elemental versatility: Celestune's core mechanic, Harmonic Resonance, builds up elemental notes that unleash unique effects when released.
    • Fire, wind, and ice interact with one another to create a wide range of skill combinations and combat styles.
      • Fire: Unleashes massive AoE damage
      • Wind: Boosts team mobility and accelerates cooldowns
      • Ice: Freezes enemies with powerful crowd control
  • Excels in mechanic-heavy dungeons: Celestune's element-based skills adapt seamlessly to demanding encounters. Whether extinguishing flames or freezing targets, they help your team survive the game's toughest challenges.
  • PvP control specialist: Severe Injury, Airborne, Slow, Meridian Seal, Pull, Knockback—you name it. Celestune is one of the most flexible control Schools in the game; it is always a step ahead and never out of tricks.

Sylph

Sylph is your Support + Healer class.

  • Comprehensive healing kit: Group-wide healing, sustained recovery, instant heals, damage sharing, damage reduction—and the game's only revival skill. Sylphs even gain a second life themselves, making them the core of any team.
  • Silken weapons that slay: Beyond healing, Sylphs can enter the [Tianwen] state to shift into offense. Their skills unfold through graceful dance, weaving elegance and power beneath showers of falling stars.
  • Aesthetic combat with unique design: The signature skill [Kitesway] lets Sylphs float beside allies while providing continuous healing. Even the fox keeps up with fashion—its look changes to match your weapon's color.

Numina

Numina is a DPS class best suited for crowd control or as the main damage dealer in a party.

  • Explosive combos: Activate [Netherfire] during Toxling Burst state to unleash devastating AoE damage around you. The result? Satisfying bursts of power!
  • Elusive movement: Use [Dreamlike] after your burst rotation to mount your Netherlight and retreat from the battlefield, allowing you to recharge your Toxling and prepare for the next wave.
  • Commanders of the poisoned: Numina excels at Gu-based summoning, calling forth powerful and visually striking Acolytes to assist in combat.
    • [Spirit Gu - Ghost Kite]: Your very first Acolyte companion, available from the start. She's invincible and ever-present, offering steady tactical support.
    • [Spirit Gu - Dreamless]: Your perfect partner for offense. When active, it significantly boosts Numina's AoE potential and damage output.
    • [Spirit Gu - Asura]: Towering and fearsome, he offers exceptional control and defense, shielding Numina while disrupting the battlefield.
