The latest round of balance changes has arrived in Brawl Stars.
April's balance changes were deployed to Brawl Stars on April 22, 2026. This comes off the back of the launch of the massive April update, which saw the reworking of the in-game shop and the introduction of new buffies, among other things.
Balance changes are meant to adjust the playing field across all game modes and ensure that no Brawler is overperforming or underperforming in the current meta. These changes usually come in the form of buffs, nerfs, and reworks that affect Brawlers’ stats and abilities.
This is true for the latest round of balance changes, which impacted an extensive list of Brawlers. Let's dive into all the details.
All of April's Balance Changes for Brawl Stars, Listed
April's balance changes are a solid mix of both buffs and nerfs. No reworks were introduced.
In terms of nerfs, Brawlers like Najia and Pierce saw reductions in their stats and abilities. These Brawlers were certainly overpowered and, as a result, dominated the meta. So, a nerf to these characters is well justified.
Meanwhile, buffs were applied to Brawlers such as Glowy and Jae-Yong. They and others were in need of improvements to their abilities, as they were underperforming compared to other Brawlers.
