On Monday, April 20, Bandai Namco Entertainment and the A24 Studio finally revealed key details about the upcoming live-action adaptation of the fantasy action RPG Elden Ring, including the full cast, release date, and more.
The Elden Ring movie is written and directed by Alex Garland and filmed specifically for IMAX, premiering on March 3, 2028.
Production begins in Spring 2026, which makes sense, considering people spotted Elden Ring props earlier this month, hinting that the movie was finally, or will soon be, in full production. Now we know.
