HoYoverse has finally announced a yearly free 5-star character selector for Genshin Impact.
One of the most beloved gacha-based RPGs with a cult-like following, Genshin Impact, is finally getting a free ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ character selector, not once, twice, or thrice, but every year on the game's anniversary, which falls on September 28.
After four years of Anniversary drama, disappointed fans, many controversies, "three extra pulls," and a decline in overall banner earnings, HoYoverse is finally heading in the right direction by offering something to the community on big occasions like game anniversaries.
That said, the new character selector will be limited to the characters available through the Wanderlust Invocation banner, granted you have unlocked the Wish System.
The new yearly character selector is not only a good way to reward longtime players, but it is also a very good strategy by HoYoverse to present Genshin Impact's 5.0 update as a starting point for players who haven't yet started playing the game.
The first character selector that will be going live at the end of September will feature the following characters:
- Dehya
- Keqing
- Mona
- Qiqi
- Jean
- Diluc
- Tighnari
