Despite being a relatively new team, BC* Gaming has shown that it is more than capable of competing at the highest level as it participates in this year's Brawl Stars Last Chance Qualifier.
BC* Gaming is the Brawl Stars branch of the organization known as BerlinCityClub. This esports team, which is based in both Germany and Hong Kong, hails from the Asia-Pacific and formally entered the esports scene in late 2023.
In 2023, BC* Gaming qualified for the World Finals. However, they were eliminated in the Group Stage.
It's been a long road ahead for the international outfit in this year's competition as they saw some internal shakeups throughout the cycle. However, it has proven to be a worthy one as they managed to secure their spot in the Snapdragon Pro Series Brawl Stars Last Chance Qualifier for 2024.
BC Gaming's Path To The Brawl Stars Last Chance Qualifier 2024
BC* Gaming's roster consists of Geki, Kanga, Megumin, and Sago. They are coached by Sodaa. Interestingly, this squad only joined the team in July as part of an acquisition of the Hong Kong team, Angelic. The previous roster who helped the team reach this stage of the competition unfortunately left in June.
Regardless, BC* Gaming has pulled a hard shift to get to the Last Chance Qualifier. They were able to qualify for March and April's EMEA Monthly Finals. In the end, they secured third and fourth-place finishes respectively. This helped them garner important points.
The team has also participated in other invitationals such as the Brawl Ball League and Titans Tourney to which they received respectable finishes.
It's quite unclear how we can expect BC* Gaming to perform in the Last Chance Qualifier. We haven't seen the new roster compete as much, so the cohesion present in other teams might not be present in this team yet. However, they are still a strong outfit and are more than capable enough to produce the results they desire.
