As the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2024 Presented by Snapdragon Pro Series approaches, two powerhouse teams – Team Vitality and GodLike Esports – are poised to compete for the ultimate prize, backed by a passionate Indian fanbase eager to see them bring the title home.

India has become a thriving hub for mobile gaming competitions. One of the most popular titles amongst gamers in the region at the moment is Call of Duty: Mobile (CoD: Mobile). The first-person shooter, known for its fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, has been on the rise due to the community’s ever-growing passion to see a bustling competitive scene. This has resulted in the hosting of various grassroots tournaments that have created incredible exposure and excitement for CoD: Mobile players in the country.
This level of enthusiasm is very much alive and present for the upcoming CoD: Mobile World Championship 2024 Presented by Snapdragon Pro Series. Two of the favorites to win the competition are none other than local representatives, Team Vitality and GodLike Esports.
Team Vitality is a renowned esports organization that has dominated in many games, with their Indian-based CoD: Mobile division following in stride having delivered hard-won victories in multiple competitions. Meanwhile, GodLike Esports is a local team with the same pedigree and certainly the same appetite for success. Both teams hope to add a championship title to their illustrious trophy cabinet and bring glory to India.
Team Vitality And GodLike Esports’ Road To The World Championship

Heading into the upcoming World Championship, Team Vitality has built a reputable squad of strong individuals. The team consists of players JOKOs, Mxrvel, SAMs, Solo, Tectonic, and VipeR.
On participating in this year’s flagship esports competition for CoD: Mobile, Head Coach Zim stated:
Vitality is proud to earn a position in the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2024 Presented by Snapdragon Pro Series in Atlanta. This opportunity gives us a unique chance to not only celebrate diversity across the world with our international roster, which is the first of its kind, but also showcase what can be achieved when you assemble like-minded, driven, and experienced players. We’re incredibly excited to show our hard work so far!
As mentioned earlier, Team Vitality has a tenured history in CoD: Mobile esports, having participated in varying levels of the game’s competitions since 2021. Earlier this year, they came first place in Season 5’s Snapdragon Mobile Challenge Finals for CoD: Mobile. This victory secured the team’s spot for 2024’s World Championship alongside fellow compatriot team, GodLike Esports, who came in second place.

Now, we turn our attention to GodLike Esports. They are on the hunt for redemption after a heartbreaking loss in the Grand Finals of last year’s World Championship against Wolves Esports. The team starts an all-Indian roster that includes players Abhiz Dada, Learn, Neutrino, Prevail, SkullGuy, and TrunKs. They are coached by Ygor Simão.
GodLike Esports’ team captain, Learn, recognizes the weight on the squad’s shoulders, commenting:
We are thrilled to have this opportunity. The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2024 Presented by Snapdragon Pro Series means everything to us, and it’s a big responsibility because it’s not just about the team; we are representing the whole country.
The Indian community will no doubt be looking forward to the two teams’ unique style of play on the world stage. Team Vitality is known for its aggressive playstyle, well-versed strategic depth, and seamless team coordination. On the other hand, GodLike esports is a fairly versatile team that’s capable of blending aggressive pushes with smart rotations. They have undoubtedly cemented themselves as formidable opponents as they go head-to-head with some of the strongest CoD: Mobile teams in the world today.
Fans will also be cheering on their favorite players and hope this added support will be what they need to make it clinch victory in the Grand Final.

Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, highlighted a few players who the Indian community will rally behind in the upcoming competition:
Both GodLike Esports and Team Vitality have standout players who have captured the attention of the Indian CoD: Mobile community. In Team GodLike, Neutrino, often referred to as the "big brother" of the community, holds a significant presence. His leadership and influence have earned him respect across the esports landscape. Another prominent player is Abhiz Dada, known for his exceptional sniping and slaying abilities, as well as his proficiency with SMGs. His consistent performance and versatility have made him a key player to watch.
In Team Vitality, twin brothers SAMs and JOKOs have garnered considerable admiration for their remarkable coordination and gameplay. Their synergy as a duo and consistent high-level performance have solidified their place as fan favorites.
Speaking to Akshat Rathee again, he firmly believes that, regardless of the outcome, both Team Vitality and GodLike Esports will have the support of the entire community. Their presence in such a pinnacle stage of CoD: Mobile esports will only “fuel the aspirations of Indian esports enthusiasts and showcase the growing competitiveness of the Indian CoD: Mobile scene.”
Ultimately, Team Vitality and GodLike Esports’ performance in the World Championship will be a defining moment for the region.
