A retro arcade awaits you in the mid-season update of Warzone Mobile! In this guide, we'll show you everything you need to know about Season 5 Reloaded's new weapons, game modes, skins, and more.
Who's ready for a blast from the past? Season 5 Reloaded enters new territory – thematically, anyway – as we jump head-first into an arcade-themed season, which is quite different from the WWE theme we initially began the season with.
Regardless, Warzone Mobile's new, mid-season update promises to deliver action-packed content full of exciting additions that may evoke nostalgia for certain players. We'll also be getting a look at weaponry and features that were teased at the start of Season 5.
So, prepare yourself for a blazing update – there's plenty in store. Season 5 Reloaded will be launched worldwide on August 21.
New Launcher And Melee Weapon Introduced
The Spear and Torque 35 are two novel weapons entering the game. They may be unconventional by most means, but they can still pack quite the punch.
On one hand, the Spear is a melee weapon that can be used at close range, with rapid melee strikes, or at a distance by throwing them. You will be supplied with three throwable Spears when equipped with this weapon. The Spear can be unlocked in the Season 5 Battle Pass.
On the other hand, the Torque 35 is a compound bow capable of launching customizable arrows. This weapon has a rapid-fire rate and can even be fired from the hip. The Torque 35 can be unlocked during a Weekly Challenge.
Jump Into The Two Arcade-Style Game Modes
Travel back in time with the two limited-time game modes slated to arrive in Warzone Mobile during Season 5 Reloaded: Arcade Hype Battle Royale and 8-bit Team Deathmatch.
Set in Rebirth Island, the Arcade Hype game will allow you to purchase power-ups using your hard-earned cash at special arcade machines. The power-ups include improved fire rate, stronger armor, unlimited ammo, and more. During a match, all players will be given enhanced jumping abilities. Arcade Hype will be launched in the second half of Season 5 Reloaded.
In 8-bit Team Deathmatch, you and your team will be "deployed as pixelated versions of Task Force 141 to Bitvela", which features a pixel-art version of the fan-favorite map, Favela. Additionally, for each kill a player gets, their head will grow larger – the larger the head, the more points you'll earn for eliminating the enemy. Once killed, your head will be reset to the original size. 8-bit Team Deathmatch will be available during the first half of Season 5 Reloaded.
