The Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has delivered thrilling moments throughout the Challenge Season across the Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM) regions. All this action will culminate in the highly-anticipated Challenge Finals.

From surprise eliminations to intense matchups, the competition has been nothing short of extraordinary. Here’s a breakdown of the key highlights from each region’s Challenge Season.

APAC: Stars Emerge Amidst Shocking Exits

Arguably the most notable moment of the Challenge Season in the Asia-Pacific region was Team Liquid PH’s elimination from the competition. The runner-ups of last season’s APAC Challenge Finals were not quite themselves after playing without their star player, bennyqt. They finished third in Group B.

Team Liquid ID made an impressive debut in the Snapdragon Pro Series thanks to standout performances from players such as Faviann and Yehezkiel. Their efforts helped them secure the team’s place in the Challenge Finals.

Meanwhile, ONIC PH continued to demonstrate consistency in this season’s proceedings by finishing first in Group A. The Philippines-based outfit is proving itself to be a top contender not only for their promising results in the Open Finals stage but also because they recently won the annual M6 World Championship organized by MOONTON Games.

Several MLBB teams sought the aid of non-MLBB coaches. EVOS Holy’s transformation under the guidance of former Dota 2 pro player, Aville, and seasoned MLBB veteran, Baby Alien, played a key role in the team’s qualification for this season’s Challenge Finals. Another former Dota 2 player, Xepher, stepped up to a coaching role at Alter Ego.

The tournament was not without its surprises. On Day 4, in Match 1, TLID secured an unexpected 2-1 victory over EVOS Holy, the reigning MPL ID Season 14 champions. The performances of Alter Ego’s Harith and TLID’s Yehezkiel were particularly noteworthy on Day 6, with the latter displaying exceptional skill using the tricky hero, Novaria.

EMEA: Underdogs Rise As Giants Fall

The Challenge Season in the EMEA followed a rather similar script to the APAC region as it saw the rise of smaller names and the fall of certain giants.

Team Birthright, a squad that narrowly advanced from the regional qualifiers, redeemed themselves from a string of disappointing results with a newfound form that saw them claim first place in Group A. It started with a stunning defeat of S2G Esports in a tight 3-2 match. They followed this performance with a clean 3-0 sweep against Papara Supermassive.

In Group B, Team Falcons proved to the rest of the region why they are often known as “The Gatekeepers.” Their effortless 3-0 win against Beşiktaş Esports and comfortable, albeit tight, 3-2 win against Incendio Supremacy meant they topped the Group.

With these highs, there came lows for some big teams. Geekay Esports and S2G Esports were expected to breeze on through to the Challenge Finals after having represented the region at the M6 World Championship. Unfortunately, none were able to find their footing in what proved to be competitive groups.

EMEA’s Challenge Season produced some unforgettable clashes. A thrilling five-game battle between Team Falcons and Incendio Supremacy took place which saw both teams trading victories before Falcons secured the match in the final game. However, it was the matchup between Papara Supermassive and S2G Esports that stole the show. The grueling 30-minute showdown – the longest match of the Challenge Season – came to an end after Papara Supermassive’s decisive Lord kill in a 4v5 situation secured them a dramatic 3-2 victory.

LATAM: Unexpected Twists and the Promise of Action

The LATAM Challenge Season is still underway but the matches so far have been gripping. Group A’s matches are done and dusted, meanwhile, Group B's matches have yet to take place.

Alpha 7 Esports claimed the top spot in Group A after cruising through matches against Flare and Corinthians. The other team to join them in the upcoming regional Challenge Finals is Flare. Despite their qualification, the team’s roster will undergo a complete change as their players will most likely leave to compete under other organizations.

On the other hand, Group B is full of excitement. Shin Nikaku is likely to carry on their form in the regional Open Finals and top the group. Vasco eSports is expected to do the same as they enter the Challenge Season retaining their strong lineup from the Open Finals. Regardless of these expectations, underdogs Fanahi MooM Latam and Surrender Flux will undoubtedly do everything in their power to claim their spot in the Challenge Finals.

Several matchups from Group B promise to deliver exciting gameplay. The opening match between Fanahi MooM Latam and Vasco eSports is expected to be one of the most evenly matched encounters of the first round. As alluded to earlier, Shin Nikaku will most likely qualify and win the Winner's Match. The Decider Match may see Vasco eSports square up against Fanahi MooM Latam or Surrender Flux.
