Tech Points, aka Faction Tech Points, is a part of Azur Lane's Fleet Technology system, a progression mechanic that allows players to get permanent stat bonuses for their Maximum Limit Break Shipgirls.

Using the Tech Points, you can increase your Faction Tech Level in Azur Lane and get a multitude of bonuses, such as increased stats, cognitive chips, and coins.

In Azur Lane, you can get Tech Points by Limit Breaking your Shipgirls and reaching Level 120 with them. Around 4/9 of your Tech Points in Azur Lane come from Limit Breaking your Shipgirl.

In contrast, you get 3/9 Tech Points by reaching Level 120 with any of your Shipgirls in the game.

Apart from that, you can also collect new Shipgirls to get Tech Points. However, you must keep the following points in mind:

  • You get more Tech Points by collecting Ships from Iron Blood and minor factions compared to others
  • Heavier Ships give more Tech Points
  • Greater displacement Ships offer more Tech Points
