Blue Archive is a massive game that can take some time to get used to. There are almost infinite numbers of teams and compositions that can be made of the characters available. Some content in the game is endlessly hard and requires some top-tier characters to carry a team through it.

To help you figure out which characters are worth using, we've done the research and have created a tier list, which ranks all the characters you can find in the game from best to worst.

We've sorted all the characters in Blue Archive into tiers that start with the S-tier and end with the F-tier.

S-tier characters are the best of the best and should always be included in your roster if you can. A-tier characters are also solid, and while they may not offer up any secondary effects, they still excel at something over the characters below them.

With B-tier, the characters are average, run-of-the-mill choices, and are still solid no matter the circumstances. Inthe C-tier, the characters will run the gamut from being niche and may only be used in one type of content, like PvP or PvE, etc. Lastly, F-tier characters are unfortunately the worst of the worst, and you should not be using them.

We've separated all the characters into Specials and Strikers.

Specials Tier List

The Specials in Blue Archive are some of the most important pieces of any team. They fall in line in the back row and are going to be the characters who will be healing and throwing out debuffs and important buffs for the entire squad.

To have a solid team across all of the content in the game, it is ideal for you to have at least one B-tier character to help you push through any content you may come face-to-face with.

We have placed almost all of the current Buffers in the game in the S-tier due to them being very important, basically the glue of any team that you may be thinking of building.

That said, here is our tier list for the Specials in Blue Archive:

TierCharacters
SAko, Fuuka (New Year), Himari, Shizuko (Swimsuit), Akane (Bunny), Kotama, and Serina
AFuuka, Hanae, Nodoka (Hot Spring), Saya (Casual), and Sena
BIroha, Karin, Mashiro (Swimsuit), Saki, and Shizuko

Strikers Tier List

Strikers are the four team members who will be boots on the ground when you're playing Blue Archive. These characters wildly vary in their uses, what weapons they use, and what skills they have. By and large, though, most Strikers, besides the one in the F-tier, will let you progress through much of the content in the game.

The S-tier for Strikers is full of characters who not only put out a lot of damage, but they will also have a secondary effect that can be activated in some way. Always prioritize the S-tier strikers because they can carry you very far without much more investment from your end.

Here is our tier list for all the Strikers in Blue Archive:

TierCharacters
SAzusa, Haruna, Hasumi (Track), Izuna, Izuna (Swimsuit), Michiru, Wakamo, Asuna, Hoshino (Swimsuit), Iori, and Koharu
AMika, Mimori, Shiroko (Cycling), Utaha (Cheer Squad), Aris, Chinatsu (Hot Spring), Chise, Kokona, Natsu, Tsurugi (Swimsuit), Ui, and Yuuka (Track)
