Gacha game is a genre that, despite being infamous, became widely popular and established a strong presence, also in terms of profitability, in the West and globally, after games like Genshin Impact, which resulted in the massive influx of global gacha games, with some standing out among others, thanks to the high-quality experience they offer.

There are many gacha games set to release in 2026 and beyond, and in this list, we have talked about some of the best ones that you should look forward to.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Set in The Seven Deadly Sins universe, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG that reimagines the 7DS universe, offering a brand new original story from the perspective of Prince Tristan, Meliodas's son.

The game features some of the most iconic characters from The Seven Deadly Sins universe, while also introducing many new ones. You can pull most of these characters to use in your team comps via the game's gacha.

On that note, the last time we played the game, there was a weapon gacha and a character gacha, which you will find in most such games.

What really intrigued our interest was the more MMO-like approach with the Liones acting as a social hub area where you can see other players and interact with them.

The combat felt really good, the open world was a sight to behold, and the story that we got to experience in the early hands-on, acted as one of the core pillars.

While there were issues related to UI, movement, and such other things, the developers delayed the game to fix them, and it's already done as the game is finally coming out on March 16 on PS5 and PC, with mobile platforms and a full global release on March 23rd.

Mongil Star Dive

Mongil: Star Dive is a fantasy creature collection game where you collect adorable monsters, tame them, and use their unique abilities in battle.

While we didn't have the chance to try out the beta version yet, the game is shaping up to be a great gacha game with a core focus on team building, exploration, and creature collection.

The game sure has some major flaws, like the character design being bland and generic, the open world colour palette feeling like whitewashed, and so on.

Clunky combat and movement, the core Monster catching feature being too simple and underwhelming, linear maps, and a lack of originality in general, there's still time, and we hope Netmarble fixes it before it's too late.

NTE (Neverness To Everness)

NTE has to be the biggest surprise and one of the most significant upcoming gacha releases that you should look forward to.

For players who don't know, NTE is a free-to-play supernatural open-world action role-playing game developed by Hotta Studio. Yes. The same devs who gave us Tower of Fantasy.

As someone who had spent countless hours in Tower of Fantasy when it came out, and seeing how it fell off, while games like NTE and Ananta were on my radar, I wasn't expecting much.

Well! To my surprise, the game is way better than what I expected. Of course, it still has some flaws, but something that the developers can easily fix.

Recently, I got the chance to play the Co-EX Test early via a press build, and after putting several hours into the game, we can say that the game has potential as the open world, the setting, the visual fidelity and the naunced approach to character conversation, story telling and cutscenes, all were perfectly in-line and something that got me hooked to the game.

The character designs, voice acting, and they themselves, in general, are one of the major pros; the content variety, the unique dice game gacha system, and some of the GTA-like aspects feel good.

But there are some major issues, like driving feels awful, the optimisation is not great, at least in the build I got to play, the fast travel points are inconsistent, and the open world encounters are great but need additional layers for replayability.

Overall, NTE is one of my and everyone at MobileMatters' most anticipated gacha games that you should look forward to.

Azur Promilia

Azur Promilia is an open-world action RPG and creature collection game, featuring a seamless open world with a vibrant art style and a unique cast of characters.

It is yet another great gacha game with a fluid action combat system further complemented by the "Kibo" creature system.

While the game's global release is still in question, the fact that it is the next game from the Azur Lane developers, Manjuu, and the impressions so far are positive, with only some minor cons, Azur Promilia is yet another game on our list that you should look forward to.

Honor Of Kings: World

Set in the Honor of Kings universe, Honor of Kings: World is yet another multiplayer open-world game with action combat, that you should look forward to, especially if you are a fan of the MOBA and want to experience something that expands on it.

Aniimo

Aniimo is a free-to-play next-gen creature collection open-world RPG set in the fictional fantasy continent of Idyll, filled with unique creatures called Aniimo, with varied landscapes, sky-floating metropolis, and much more.

The game's uniqueness lies in how you can turn into one of your captured creatures to tackle different puzzles, activities, and such things encountered in the open world, and as you go through the game's story.

So far, the game's gacha is limited to appearance and cosmetics and may change as we get close to the game's release. In any case, Aniimo is yet another game that you should look forward to.
