In this guide, we have put together all the leaks related to Varesa's character kit to ensure players can get a look at her overall abilities.

So without any further ado, here's everything you need to know about Genshin Impact's Varesa's character kit.

Varesa Rarity, Element And Weapon

As per the current leaks, Varesa is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ character in Genshin Impact and a Catalyst user.

When it comes to her vision or Element, she is an Electro unit, and you can confirm that by seeing the Electro Vision on her back.

Here's an overview of Varesa's leaked abilities:

Normal Attack

Varesa's Normal attack talents have two states which depends on Nightsoul points. Here's a complete look:

Normal Attack

Perform up to three consecutive strikes, dealing Electro damage.

Charged Attack

Consumes a certain amount of stamina to perform a headbutt, dealing Electro damage with the Nightsoul's Blessing property and propelling Varesa into the air.

Plunging Attack

Descends from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging enemies along the path and dealing area-of-effect Electro damage upon impact.

If Varesa is in combat or hits an enemy with this attack, she gains 25 Nightsoul points.

When Nightsoul points reach their maximum through this method, Varesa enters the "Fiery Passion" state.

Fiery Passion

In this state, Varesa's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are enhanced:

  • Normal Attack: Perform up to three powerful strikes, dealing increased Electro damage.
  • Charged Attack: Consumes stamina to dash forward, dealing increased Electro damage with the Nightsoul's Blessing property and propelling Varesa into the air.
  • Plunging Attack: Consumes all Nightsoul points to descend from mid-air, damaging enemies along the path and dealing increased area-of-effect Electro damage with the Nightsoul's Blessing property upon impact.

Elemental Skill

Varesa dashes forward, dealing Electro damage with the Nightsoul's Blessing effect. After casting, she gains 20 Nightsoul points and the Pursuit effect, increasing interruption resistance and enabling instant Charged Attacks via Normal Attack input (Charged Attack removes Pursuit).

Tap vs. Hold

  • Tap: Quick dash forward.
  • Hold: Activates Rapid Advance, consuming Nightsoul points to enhance speed and interruption resistance. Allows movement over terrain, water, and Liquid Phlogiston (immune to its damage).
  • Nightsoul's Blessing: Ends when Nightsoul points are depleted. Skill has two charges. Entering Fiery Passion resets the cooldown and increases damage.

Fiery Passion Mechanics

Outside Fiery Passion: Restore Nightsoul points via Plunging Attacks. Reaching max Nightsoul points activates Fiery Passion.

In Fiery Passion: Enhances Normal Attacks, Skill, and Burst. Continuous Nightsoul's Blessing state. Allows a special Burst shortly after Plunging Attacks.

Elemental Burst

Varesa leaps into the air, delivering a flying kick that deals AoE Electro damage with Nightsoul's Blessing. Fully restores Nightsoul points and activates Fiery Passion.

In Fiery Passion

Burst deals increased Electro damage with Nightsoul's Blessing. Performing a Plunging Attack activates the Limit Drive state.

Limit Drive

Boosts interruption resistance and allows a special Burst with reduced energy cost, bypassing cooldown.

The special Burst performs a powerful Plunging Attack, dealing pat,h, and AoE Electro damage (treated as Plunging Attack damage).

Varesa's Constellations

Here's a look at all of Varesa's leaked Constellations in Genshin Impact:

Constellation 1

Enhances the passive talent by increasing Plunging Attack damage by 50%, even outside the Fiery Passion state.

Upon entering or exiting Fiery Passion, Varesa gains a 35% Attack boost for 5 seconds.

In Rapid Advance mode, Nightsoul and Phlogiston consumption are reduced by 30%.

Constellation 2

After performing a Plunging Attack, Varesa enters the Limit Drive state regardless of her Fiery Passion status

In this state, her interruption resistance is further increased, and each Plunging Attack impact restores 11.5 Energy.

Constellation 3

Increases the level of Varesa's Elemental Burst by 3, up to a maximum level of 15.

Constellation 4

When casting the Elemental Burst, different effects are applied depending on the state.

Outside Fiery Passion or Limit Drive, the Diligent Valor effect increases Plunging Attack damage by 500% of Varesa's Attack, up to 20,000 bonus damage.

This effect ends after hitting an enemy or after 15 seconds. While in Fiery Passion or Limit Drive, the Elemental Burst's damage is increased by 100%.

Constellation 5

Increases the level of Varesa's Normal Attack by 3, up to a maximum level of 15.

Constellation 6

Upon entering Limit Drive, Varesa restores 30 Energy. Her Plunging Attacks and Elemental Burst gain 10% increased Critical Rate and 100% increased Critical Damage.

Additionally, using her Elemental Skill in Rapid Advance restores Nightsoul points to the maximum.
