Disney is closing the doors on this action-packed, role-playing mobile game.
Disney Heroes: Battle Mode is officially coming to an end, with developer PerBlue confirming that the long-running mobile RPG will shut down on May 31, 2026.
The announcement, shared via an official in-game notice and support channels, marks the conclusion of nearly eight years of service for the Disney crossover title.
According to the announcement, the shutdown process will begin later in the month. In-app purchases will be disabled on April 30, and on the same date, the game will be removed from app stores, which means that new players will no longer be able to download it.
After an incredible 8 year long journey, Disney Heroes: Battle Mode will be concluding its adventure at the end of May 2026.

Those who already have the game installed will still be able to play until the servers go offline on May 31.
The development team expressed gratitude to the community, calling it a "privilege" to bring the game to life and highlighting the nostalgia and passion that went into its creation. They also thanked players for their years of support and for helping shape the experience.
Released globally in 2018, Disney Heroes: Battle Mode was a free-to-play action RPG available on iOS and Android. The game brought together characters from across Disney and Pixar franchises — including The Incredibles, Zootopia, and Wreck-It Ralph — into a shared digital world.
Players assembled teams of heroes to battle enemies in a campaign centered around stopping a mysterious virus. Over time, the game expanded significantly, eventually featuring over 250 playable characters and regular updates that introduced new heroes and events.
The title maintained a steady player base throughout its lifespan, thanks in large part to its frequent content drops and crossovers. However, like many live-service mobile games, it ultimately reached the end of its lifecycle. For many longtime players, the final weeks offer one last chance to revisit the game before it disappears for good.
