The cult classic RPG from Germany, Gothic, is now 25 years old, and to celebrate that, THQ Nordic has announced a mobile port of Gothic Classic for iOS, coming out later this year as a paid offering.

The announcement was made via the game's official X handle, which also included a 25-second-long teaser trailer.

For players who don't know, Gothic Classic is already available on the PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms, with a Gothic 1 Remake arriving on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X | S, and PS5 on June 5.

Aside from that, the anniversary celebration also included the launch of a new Merch line, including:

  • Limited-edition Scavenger Figurine
  • A map of the Valley of Mines right from the Gothic 1 Remake
  • The Gothic Classic Sketchbook, where concept artist Ralf Marczinczik compiled the original sketches across a total of 176 pages.

While the iOS version was confirmed, THQ Nordic didn't mention anything about the Android platform. If we hear anything, we will update this article.
