THQ Nordic has announced a mobile port for Gothic Classic.
The cult classic RPG from Germany, Gothic, is now 25 years old, and to celebrate that, THQ Nordic has announced a mobile port of Gothic Classic for iOS, coming out later this year as a paid offering.
The announcement was made via the game's official X handle, which also included a 25-second-long teaser trailer.

Twenty-five years ago, on March 15th, 2001, a little RPG from Germany called Gothic launched and quickly became one of the most iconic franchises in the genre.

For players who don't know, Gothic Classic is already available on the PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms, with a Gothic 1 Remake arriving on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X | S, and PS5 on June 5.
Aside from that, the anniversary celebration also included the launch of a new Merch line, including:
- Limited-edition Scavenger Figurine
- A map of the Valley of Mines right from the Gothic 1 Remake
- The Gothic Classic Sketchbook, where concept artist Ralf Marczinczik compiled the original sketches across a total of 176 pages.

While the iOS version was confirmed, THQ Nordic didn't mention anything about the Android platform. If we hear anything, we will update this article.
