Netmarble's monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE received a brand new update on Wednesday, July 29, introducing the new 5-Star character Mabel along with limited-time events and new story content.
Mabel is a new Lightning Destroyer who serves as an Inquisitor responsible for recording reality and the phenomena therein. A faithful and compassionate nun, she shows mercy even to her enemies, yet delivers uncompromising judgment upon those beyond redemption.
In battle, Mabel wields Epigram, a mysterious book that records both matter and magic. Her Ultimate Skill, Injustice, Exterminate, summons the divine arbiter from the pages of Epigram to unleash devastating Lightning damage while inflicting a Lightning Affliction debuff on enemies.
To celebrate Mabel’s arrival, the special story event “The Inquisitor’s Day Off” will be available for three weeks.
By doing the story event, you can learn more about Mabel’s backstory while collecting event currency to exchange for summon tickets, character growth materials, and various other rewards.
In addition to that, additional limited-time events include “Special Missions with Mabel” and “Inquisitor Mabel’s 7-Day Gifts”, while Mabel’s new Epic Quest, “Reward Virtue, Eliminate Evil”, is also now available to play.
Introduced in this update, Epic Quests are permanent content taking place on the world map in parallel to the main story and put the spotlight on new and returning characters. They feature new cinematic cutscenes, full voice performances, and unique combat encounters.
