One Punch Man: World is officially coming to an end. The developers have announced that the game will shut down its services on February 27, 2026, bringing its run to a close just two years after its global release.

The news was shared directly with players via an official statement, with the team thanking the community for its continued support throughout the game’s lifetime.

According to the announcement, the decision "was not made lightly." The developers also expressed their appreciation for the enthusiasm players have shown and encouraged everyone to continue enjoying the game while the servers remain online.

What Happens Next For One Punch Man: World?

The shutdown will happen in stages, starting in January 2026. From January 12, 2026, at 6:00 AM (UTC-2), all in-game purchases and top-up options will be disabled. Players who already own World Silver or World Gold will still be able to use their remaining currency until the service ends.

On the same day, new account creation will be closed, the game will be removed from app stores, and the official Discord channel will be shut down.

Customer support for One Punch Man: World will remain available for slightly longer, with the support team handling inquiries until March 29, 2026.

The final shutdown arrives on February 27, 2026, at 6:00 AM (UTC-2). At that point, game logins will be disabled, servers will go offline, and the game service will officially end. The game’s website and social media accounts will also be closed.

With only a limited amount of time left, the developers are encouraging players to make the most of their remaining days in One Punch Man: World.

This news came as a surprise to the community; however, it was not a massive shock to most players. The release of new updates, content, and events has gradually slowed down since its release, especially in 2025, when a limited amount of new content was added, leading to worries from fans about its future.
