Pokémon GO is turning 10 next year, and the game is celebrating by throwing the biggest Pokémon GO Fest lineup we’ve seen in years.

Pokémon GO Fest is the game’s biggest celebration that takes place every year to honor the game and its ever-growing community. This annual event brings players together for a multi-day mix of special spawns, unique research quests, exclusive event bonuses, and real-world activities.
It’s essentially a massive, themed gathering where Trainers explore a host city, catch event-only Pokémon, meet other players, and enjoy a festival-style atmosphere packed with photo spots, challenges, merch, and other surprises. Each year introduces new features or debuts, making Pokémon GO Fest a can’t-miss highlight of the Pokémon GO calendar.

The Dates for Pokémon GO Fest in 2026 Have Been Confirmed
With three global cities across different continents, the Pokémon GO Fests of 2026 promise lots of diversity. Different cities, different vibes — but the same celebration at its core.
The three-day events are scheduled to take place over weekends, with all slated to occur during the summer period. The dates and locations of each event are as follows:
| Pokémon GO Fest Location | Date |
| Tokyo at Bay Area | May 29 – June 1, 2026 |
| Chicago at Grant Park | June 5 – June 7, 2026 |
| Copenhagen at Fælledparken | June 12 – June 14, 2026 |
The Ticketed Citywide Gameplay will begin a day before the start of the Pokémon GO Fest, except for one. The Tokyo Pokémon GO Fest's Ticketed Citywide Gameplay will take place five days earlier on May 25th.
For players who can’t make it to one of the host cities, don’t worry. A Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global Edition is also being planned, giving you a chance to join the celebrations from wherever you are in the world. Details on this worldwide event will be shared in March and throughout the spring.
