Classes in Arcane Lineage serve as the backbone of the game from which the different unique gameplay features are derived. The game features quite a handful list of Classes, Super Classes, and Sub Classes that players can select and power up through battle to unlock their true potential.

When you start your journey in Arcane Lineage in Caldera Town, you can progress and obtain your first base class by taking to their respective trainers and completing the associated activity.

Selecting the class is a challenging task as depending on which class you select; you will have only access to its Super Classes later on when you level up your character.

At the time of writing this guide, Arcane Lineage features five Base Classes, ten Super Classes derived from the base class, and three Sub Classes. These are:

  • Warrior
    • Berserker
    • Paladin

You must be level 5 or above to choose any base classes, whereas you must be level 15 or more to select the respective Super Class.

  • Barrage: Barrage your enemy with heavy strikes
    • Perform 3 rapid hits dealing 3.3 base dmg
  • Endure: Brace for the next while, increasing your defense
    • Gain 25% damage reduction
  • Fighting Prowess: Deal more damage with cestus.
  • Iron Body: Block better.
    • Take less chip damage from blocking.
WarriorTank
  • Pommel Strike: Bash your enemy with the base of your sword. Has a chance to stun.
    • Single-target, perform a deft pommel strike dealing 7 base dmg.
  • Double Slash: Strike twice in quick succession.
    • Single-target, perform two strikes dealing 5 base dmg each.
  • Sword Training: Deal more damage with swords.
  • Strength Training: Become more proficient with blocking using a sword.
    • Less chip damage from blocking.
Slayer Damage
  • Serpent Strike: Single target, deals low-medium damage, and applies poison for 3 turns. Base damage: 6 plus poison
  • Triple Strike: Single target, you attack three times and do about 10 damage. Base damage: 3.33
  • Spear Training: You do more damage with the spear.
  • Swift Fighter: More agility upon dodging
ThiefDamage
  • Stab (Physical Damage, Physical Scaling, 1 Energy Cost, 2 Recharge Time)
    • Stab deep into the enemy, inflicting bleed.
    • Single-target, stabs the targeted enemy, then makes them bleed for 2 turns.
  • Pocket Sand (Physical Damage, Physical Scaling, 2 Energy Cost, 3 Recharge Time)
    • Grab and throw sand into the enemy’s eyes, inflicting blind.
    • Single-target, throws sand at an enemy then blinds them for 3 turns.
  • Thievery: Gain more gold.
  • Agile: Run faster.
Wizard (Mage)Magic
  • Magic Missile (0): Deals medium-high ranged damage after a short minigame.
  • Scholar Training: Allows the player to use skills from scrolls.
  • Coward: Decreases the chance of being targeted.

Use the above details to choose the right base class in Arcane Lineage. Once that is done, you can level up and select any of the two Super Classes for the respective base class to further power up.
