Supercell rarely introduces game updates to Clash of Clans. But when they do, they have the potential to thoroughly shake up the game.
In the past, updates have come in the form of a new Town Hall level, major adjustments to the gameplay experience, reworks to certain troops/spells, and more.
The devs are often tight-lipped about when players can hope to see these updates in the game. They've dropped hints in the past and given previews of what's to come but never a release date. With that said, we'll try our best to provide you with an overview of the expected update schedule.
Clash Of Clans Update Schedule
The next major update is expected to be the release of Town Hall 17. Supercell previously confirmed that they are abandoning their old 18-month schedule for new Town Hall levels in favor of a 12-month schedule. Given that Town Hall 16 was released in December 2023, it is only reasonable that Town Hall 17 will be launched to Clash of Clans in December 2024.
The last update was released in early September. It introduced new features such as Supercharge, the Clan Notice Board, the Treasure Hunt event, and Legendary Sceneries.
Besides all this, you can expect a new season to begin on the first day of each new month.
