If you’ve just started playing Stella Sora, you’ve probably noticed that not all Trekkers have the same power level. Some characters can carry your entire team through the toughest battles, while others struggle to keep up as the difficulty ramps up.

In Stella Sora, each character brings a unique set of skills, attributes, and roles that can make or break the strategy you're utilizing for your three-person squad. Whether you prefer powerful DPS units, reliable tanks, or flexible support characters, knowing how they stack up against one another can help you form the most effective team possible.

The rankings are distributed across five tiers. At the very top is the S-tier, which houses Trekkers who are the best in the game. Their abilities are unrivaled, and they can upgrade any squad with their skills. A step lower is the A-tier, which showcases Trekkers who are strong in their own right and can be great substitutes for those in the S-tier.
In the middle of the rankings is the B-tier. Characters ranked here are average-performing picks. They are versatile, have fairly good skills, and are worth investing in, especially if you're a beginner player. C-tier Trekkers tend to be situational picks and need some support to truly shine in a squad. Finally, the F-tier houses characters whose abilities to impact a squad fall short in the current meta.

Best Characters in Stella Sora
Arguably, the most powerful characters are Chitose, Chixia, Gerie, Minova, and Nanoha. This is due to their overwhelming strengths.
Chitose is a strong Aqua-element Trekker who's phenomenal at supporting your squad thanks to her great healing abilities.
Moving on, Chixia is someone you can rely upon if you're looking for a member who can deal immense area-of-effect damage. She's perfect for clearing waves of enemies or chipping damage at beefy swarms.
Gerie is another great support Trekker who can provide shields to allies and supply various counters to enemies who stand in her and your squad's way.
Minova can serve as a high-HP character that supports your team with healing. If you're looking for somebody who can help your squad's durability in tricky combat situations, then she's the one for you.
Nanoha is an extremely potent attacker who can use her rapid strikes to eliminate enemies. She also has decent evasion, as she's rather fast, which you can use to your advantage by dodging enemy projectiles.
Worst Characters in Stella Sora
Unfortunately, the worst characters in Stella Sora are Laru, Noya, and Shimiao.
Laru can be quite a decent Lux-element Trekker, but her abilities are rather limited, and often leave much to be desired in how she can support the team.
While Noya is a speedy character (which can obviously help with mobility), she can become a liability during hectic battles where you need more from each Trekker than just speed.
Shimiao is, overall, a fairly balanced support character. However, in comparison to other supports in the game's roster, she falls short.
