October will be a big month for Clash Royale – and we're not just saying that because of the Halloween-themed season. It's because Supercell will launch a brand-new update that will introduce some pretty important changes to the game.

For one, the Pass Royale will be revamped to become a more rewarding experience. Secondly, a new Champion known as Goblinstein will be added. Finally, items such as improved Daily Tasks and adjustments to Evolutions Slots are also in the patch notes.

But, back to Lucky Drops. They will be reworked to become more dynamic in terms of where you can get them and the rewards you can unlock from opening a Drop.

Key Details About The Lucky Drops Rework

The biggest change to the Lucky Drops is that they will now come in five different rarities. It ranges from the lowest rarity, that being 1 star, and the highest rarity, that being 5 stars. This will replace the previous rarity system which ranged between Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

Naturally, the higher the rarity, the better the rewards. These include Banners, Emotes, cards, Wild Cards, Evolution Shards, and a greater amount of Gold.

Not only will the rework make Lucky Drops more rewarding, but they'll also make them more attainable. Once the October update is live, you will be able to obtain Lucky Drops by completing Daily Tasks and unlocking reward tiers in the Pass Royale.

Overall, Supercell states these changes will allow players to "earn five times more Lucky Drops each season as a free-to-play player."
