Guild Wars Reforged Heads to Mobile This Summer 2026 With New Features

Guild Wars Reforged is officially coming to the mobile platform.

Guild Wars Reforged will be launched globally on Android and iOS devices in the Summer of 2026, developers ArenaNet announced on the day of the game's 21st anniversary.

The remastered update of the cult-classic online RPG will be available as a free-to-play, though ad-supported, title. Pre-registration is currently open, and players can sign up on the game's official website.

Players will have access to the entire roster of the original Guild Wars: Prophecies campaign, with other premium content available for a price.

Each campaign can be purchased for for US$6.99. Specific expansions, such as the Guild Wars: Eye of the North and the Bonus Mission Pack, will cost US$9.99 and US5.99 respectively.

A Mobile-Tailored Experience for Guild Wars Fans

Guild Wars Reforged on mobile offers a list of unique features, such as a platform-tailored UI and a customizable control setup. Additionally, the mobile version features cross-play and cross-progression.

Players can play with their friends and guilds using their ArenaNet accounts, as the mobile version shares the same game servers as PC and Steam Deck players.

Meanwhile, cross-progression across the game's supported platforms — which now includes mobile — can be enabled by signing into the player's ArenaNet account.

New mobile users can log in to their devices using their Mobile IDs. They will later have the option to convert their account to an ArenaNet account if they wish to continue their progress on other supported platforms.

Guild Wars was first launched in 2005 and steadily garnered a community of dedicated players who appreciate the game's immersive storyline, action-packed combat, and impressive scale. The rereleased version, Reforged, comes with improved audio and visual components, a better interface, and more streamlined gameplay.
