This expansion is a notable move for the game, which originally launched in China in 2019 before gradually rolling out to Japan and global markets in 2021.
Punishing: Gray Raven is a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic action RPG where players take on the role of a Commandant leading a squad of cybernetic soldiers known as "Constructs." The gameplay revolves around real-time, hack-and-slash combat, with players controlling a team of up to three characters and swapping between them mid-fight to chain combos and abilities.
With this service expansion, Punishing: Gray Raven is clearly aiming to reach a broader audience by making it easier than ever for new players to jump into one of mobile gaming's more mechanically demanding action RPGs.
