Horizon Steel Frontiers is a cross-platform MMORPG featuring detailed character customisation set in Deadlands, described as a frontier for machine hunters, featuring awe-inspiring landscapes and a vast open world to explore.
Inspired by the original Horizon games, Horizon Steel Frontiers offers an advanced combat system along with MMO elements like large-scale raids and such, where you can make full use of it.
The fact that Guerrilla Games was actively involved with the developement and NC Soft is a veteran South Korean developer and publisher, is more than enough for the hype we are seeing around Horizon Steel Frontiers in just a few hours after its announcement.
Here is what Guerrilla Games had to say about the game:
We've loved collaborating with NCSOFT and are beyond excited to be able to hunt machines together in the world of Horizon – at Guerrilla, we're still busily working on more ways for you to do just that. More on that to come.
Aside from the official announcement and first reveal, we also got a good look at Horizon Steel Frontiers gameplay and some key features and mechanics.
