Tetris and Red Bull have teamed up for Red Bull Tetris®, a global competition that puts a fresh twist on the classic puzzle game with gravity flips, speed boosts, and time-limited rounds.

The competition began on June 6, with qualifiers open worldwide to players aged 18 and up, running through October 31, 2025.

Players can enter the qualifiers by submitting their leaderboard score on Red Bull Tetris.

In the U.S., the top players will face off in a 1v1 bracket on PC at the United States National Finals on November 22 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The winner will go on to represent the U.S. at the World Final in Dubai, held between December 11–13.

There, they’ll compete against champions from more than 55 countries in the Red Bull Tetris® World Final. Hosted at the Dubai Frame, the event will make gaming history as over 2,000 drones create the world’s first playable Tetris game in the night sky.

Maya Rogers, President and CEO of The Tetris Company, said:

Tetris doesn’t require language; for 40 years it has connected people across countries, cultures and generations. Seeing players compete locally for a chance to represent their nation on a global stage is a powerful reflection of that spirit. And with the road leading all the way to Dubai for a one-of-a-kind final played out in the sky, it truly feels like we’re taking Tetris somewhere completely new.

The multi-day finale will also feature a festival-like atmosphere with live music and special guest appearances.

Fans can also take part in the 'Golden Tetrimino Challenge,' which offers a chance to win a trip to Dubai and witness the spectacle in person.
