It's official! Mark your calendars as Supercell has confirmed that Squad Busters' release date is set for May 29.
In a surprising announcement that we didn't expect for a while, Supercell has just confirmed that the long-awaited worldwide launch of their upcoming mobile game, Squad Busters, is scheduled for May 29 later this year.
The action-packed, squad-building game takes players on an adventure to meet various characters and worlds inspired by Supercell's popular titles. Each multiplayer match requires players to build a strong squad, collect Gems, and ultimately be the last team standing to win.
Squad Busters Will Be Launched Worldwide In Late May
With a release date finally set, players currently unable to enjoy the game's soft launch will soon be able to experience all that the game has to offer firsthand.
Squad Busters recently entered its highly-anticipated soft-launch phase in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Norway, Singapore, Spain, and Sweden on April 23.
It was believed by many in the community, at the time of the soft launch's announcement, that it would be some time before Supercell announced an official global launch date. In light of recent news, this has been proven wrong as Supercell is prepared to dive into the game's release as soon as possible.
Squad Busters is notably only the sixth title in Supercell's illustrious catalog of games. The Finland-based developers have a reputation for shutting down many of their titles in development. This axing most recently affected Clash Mini, a mobile strategy game, that had been in development since 2021.
However, Squad Busters presents a new path forward for the popular game developer. The game has already garnered a significant following and the anticipation from hopeful players is palpable. Though this news was surprising for some, what will be unsurprising is that everything points to Squad Busters being the next big thing from Supercell.
