The original remake was released on the Game Boy Advance back in 2004, with the announced Nintendo Switch version being the latest iteration of the original title, containing much of the same Kantonian charm with improved visuals and some nuances.
Players will be able to revisit the classic story of Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, along with the Sevii Islands introduced in Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen back in 2004, with features like trading Pokémon, battling each other, and "more using local communication."
You can pre-order the game right now via the eShop.
