Hypercharge is an item players can unlock when a Brawler reaches Level 11 in Brawl Stars.
Hypercharges allow you to activate a new dimension of upgraded stats and abilities for your favorite Brawlers. Though Hypercharge only lasts for a limited time during a match, it is undoubtedly useful for many situations and strategies.
Not all Brawlers have a unique Hypercharge item for now, but Supercell assures players that they will see more added to Brawl Stars in the future. With that said, there's still plenty to learn about this ability that can be an absolute game-changer when deployed correctly.
How to Activate A Hypercharge in Brawl Stars
You will have to charge up the Hypercharge bar to Hypercharge a Brawler. Anything that normally charges a Super will also charge the Hypercharge bar. However, charging the Hypercharge bar can take longer than it does to charge a Super.
When it is fully charged, you will simply need to press the purple Hypercharge button to activate the Hypercharge.
A Hypercharge will buff a Brawler with increased speed, damage, and shield stats. It will also improve their Super's effectiveness. This buff will only last for a limited time.
While activated, any Hypercharged Brawler will appear to be surrounded by purple flames.
How to Unlock Hypercharges in Brawl Stars
Players can unlock a Hypercharge slot when they upgrade a Brawler to Level 11.
You can get a Hypercharge through Hypercharge Starr Drops, Shop Offers, and purchasing it from the Brawler's profile screen.
Players will be able to purchase a Brawler's individual Hypercharge ability for 5,000 Coins by visiting the Brawler's profile screen and selecting their Hypercharge slot.
On top of this, Hypercharges may also appear at a reduced cost during limited-time Shop offers.
Hypercharges are also available as rewards in Hypercharge Starr Drops. You will be able to receive Hypercharges for Brawlers who are not at Power Level 11 yet.
