Clash of Clans will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with an event full of new skins, challenges, and sceneries.
The 'Lunar New Year Magic Show' is a massive new Clash of Clans event that will be celebrating the year of the rabbit in the Chinese calendar. The event will be available in the game between January 18 - 26.
It's a festive period commemorated and observed by many worldwide, and Clash of Clans will do the same.
The event will introduce new skins, challenges, and scenery to the game. That being said, here's everything you need to know about the 'Lunar New Year Magic Show' event in Clash of Clans.
Clash Of Clans Lunar New Year Event - New Archer Queen Skin
The Lunar Queen skin is a new cosmetic that you can purchase from the in-game store for USD $9.99. It will only be available in Clash of Clans during the event. It will disappear from the shop after it ends.
The skin includes a custom Archer Queen model, textures, special animations, new visual/sound effects, and custom spawned Archers when she uses her active ability.
Clash Of Clans Lunar New Year Event - Challenges
A special Lunar New Year Challenge will be available in this event. You will need to earn three stars by defeating an enemy village using a set of given troops. These troops include:
- 2 Barbarians (Level 7)
- 6 Wall Breakers (Level 6)
- 32 Balloons (Level 8) and seven Level 8 Balloons as reinforcements
- 4 Healers (Level 5)
- 2 Valkyries (Level 5)
- 3 Lava Hounds (Level 3)
- Barbarian King (Level 68)
- Archer Queen (Level 83)
- 1 Healing Spell (Level 7)
- 4 Rage Spells (Level 5)
- 1 Poison Spell (Level 6)
- 1 Skeleton Spell (Level 3)
If you complete this challenge, you will be rewarded with 400 XP and 1 Shovel of Obstacles. You will also earn 888,888 Gold and Elixir as well as 8,888 Dark Elixir.
Clash Of Clans Lunar New Year Event - New Scenery
The Magic Theatre is a new scenery that celebrates the festivities of the Lunar New Year. You can get it from the in-game store for USD $6.99. Purchasing this scenery will also give you 2.5 million Gold and Elixir.
