Update periods are arguably the most exciting time in Clash Royale. In the past, we've seen the addition of new cards, gameplay changes, features, cosmetics, and much more.
There are two discernible types of updates. Those that arrive at the beginning of every new season and those implemented when the devs have sweeping changes to introduce.
Regardless of the type, you desperately want to know when the next one will roll around. So without further ado, let's dive into when the next update is released.
When Is The Next Clash Royale Update?
The next major update in Clash Royale will be released in December 2023.
The last heavy update in Clash Royale was released on June 19, 2023. It included changes to Events which reintroduced Chests and Crowns as rewards you could earn in Event battles alongside Season Tokens. Besides this, Card Level 15 and Card Evolution were added to the game.

The next season, Season 51, will start on September 4, 2023. We can expect new events, challenges, and balance changes when it comes around.
