In the coming August season, Brawl Stars will be welcoming the 'Paint Brawl' game mode. It follows an interesting set of rules that's unlike other modes we've had in the game thus far.

Supercell is no stranger when it comes to introducing unconventional ways to play the game besides the traditional team-based elimination format. In the past, we have Basket Brawl and Gem Grab. Both of which needed players to showcase more than just their skills to deal damage.

Now, with Paint Brawl, we've got a new game mode that relies on painting the map as much as possible.

As the name might suggest, Paint Brawl is all about competing with the other team to cover the map with paint. You or someone from your team will need to pick up the 'Paint Ball' to start painting. If you lose it, you will need to pick it back up or eliminate the enemy player holding onto it to get it back.

Performing takedowns on enemy brawlers will cause them to explode and spray the area they were in with your team's paint color. That's a great two-birds-with-one-stone situation if you ask me.

Naturally, the objective of each team is to cover the map with as much of their team paint as possible. The team that reaches 100% map coverage (or has the highest percentage by the end of the match) wins the game.

This game mode is pretty simple to understand, right? Well, once it's added to Brawl Stars, be sure to enjoy it as much as possible because it's a limited-time event that may not return to the game in the future.
