During the Battle for Katana Kingdom event in Brawl Stars, you can earn items known as Sushi Rolls.
Think of them as something similar to other blind box mechanics in the game, such as Starr Drops or Ranked Starr Drops. Sushi Rolls will reward you with at least one item when opened, including exclusive items available during only the four-part event.
The Battle for Katana Kingdom event will be available throughout the month of May, so you'd better start getting your hands on these Rolls as soon as you can.
How to Get Sushi Rolls in Brawl Stars
You can earn Sushi Rolls in Brawl Stars in various ways throughout the Battle for Katana Kingdom event. This includes:
- Getting Daily Wins in the Samurai Smash game mode
- Through the Mega Buffet Club event
- Participating in the Oni Hunt Quests
- Competing in Daily Contests
- Opening special freebies
- Purchasing Shop offers
Every Sushi Roll you gain will also help fill up your Sushi Meter, which can earn you additional rewards throughout the event.
What Rewards You Can Get from Sushi Rolls
Similar to Starr Drops, Sushi Rolls have four chances to split into a higher rarity version. The rarities (in ascending order) are Rare, Super Rare, Epic, and Mythic. You can earn more rewards from higher rarity Sushi Rolls.
Each Sushi Roll grants you one reward. Rare gives you one Sushi Roll, Super Rare gives two, Epic gives four, and Mythic gives you eight.

It's important to note that you are guaranteed one random event skin from Epic and Mythic Sushi Rolls, granted that you own the Brawler already. Open 120 Sushi Rolls, and you're guaranteed to unlock all of the event's five skins.
