All Nintendo Mobile Games Ranked From Best to Worst

1-5

Which Nintendo mobile game is the best?

Pikmin Bloom

5. Pikmin Bloom

Before we get started — yes, we know it was developed by Niantic, but it was done so under a license from Nintendo. Niantic is known for its unique augmented reality (AR) mobile games, and this is exactly what is present in Pikmin Bloom. You can earn rewards by walking in the outside world, completing weekly challenges, and teaming up with others from around the world. You can also collect digital friends known as Pikmin. Though the game is amusing, it feels more like a fitness companion app than it is an engaging mobile game. That's why it has landed in last place.

Super Mario Run

4. Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run is a hugely fun one-tap, runner/platformer game, where you can navigate Mario (and other familiar characters) through various challenging courses. We thoroughly enjoy the game and its quirky design, but we'd be remiss if we didn't bring up its somewhat misleading "free" format. You can initially download the app for free, but you're limited to a small set of levels. You'll need to pay to access the rest of the game modes and everything else the game has to offer. If it weren't for this hard paywall, the game would be ranked higher.

Fire Emblem Heroes

3. Fire Emblem Heroes

With Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo expands on its more-than-30-year-old Fire Emblem universe. This tactical RPG offers a rich, thematic storyline that takes you on a journey into a world filled with the series' iconic characters and in-depth, strategic battles. The game employs a gacha system, which can be a mixed bag depending on your attitude toward it. But overall, if you've been following this series over the years or want to dive into a detailed narrative, we highly recommend checking this game out.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete

2. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is a mobile version of the cozy, simulation series that allows you to focus on building a camp and befriending animal villagers. This offline version with zero micro-transactions has become a favorite for many. We absolutely love this game as it stays true to the source material.

Mario Kart Tour

1. Mario Kart Tour

Mario Kart Tour is a game that needs no introduction. The mobile adaptation of Nintendo's hugely popular racing series provides endless fun with its ever-rotating set of courses and special events, as well as its vast roster of characters and kart items. You can challenge yourself by completing Tours against the computer or going against real players in the multiplayer mode. Either way, you're in for some action-packed races. We just wish Nintendo hadn't ended the release of new game content.

1-5

Nintendo has developed an unbelievable number of extremely enjoyable games over the years. Their games often feature fantastical worlds with a unique cast of characters and eye-catching aesthetics that make us want to dive into everything they have to offer.

The quality of their titles is not sacrificed in the mobile gaming scene. They have the same level of fun that we come to expect from the Japan-based developers. However, as much as that statement is true, some of their titles are more enjoyable than others. We've gone through Nintendo's entire mobile games catalog and ranked them all from best to worst.
