The mobile version of one of the greatest historical strategy games, Age of Empires Mobile, has been developing for years now, and it seems that the game is finally ready for an open beta.
On March 28, 2024, the game released its first open beta for the Android platform for players in France, the Philippines, and Indonesia. What makes this beta test more interesting is that you can carry over your save to the final game.

Downloading The Age Of Empire Mobile Beta On Android
The Age of Empires Mobile beta is available on the Google Play Store, and thankfully—you don't have to complete an extensive questionnaire to get into the beta.
To download the beta, you must ensure you are from the following region:
- France
- Philippines
- Indonesia
Now, open the Google Play Store on your device and search for 'Age of Empires Mobile.' Select the game from the search result and tap on it to open the game's listing page.
Click the 'Install' button from there and let the download finish. Once that is done, you can tap on the game's icon and let the additional files download complete.

If you are getting the "your device isn't compatible with this version" error while trying to download the Age of Empires Mobile beta, then there are two reasons for it:
- Your device hardware doesn't meet minimum system requirements
- Your device's Android version doesn't meet the minimum OS requirements
You can try updating your mobile device system software for the latter if you have any pending Android version updates. If not, you can do nothing other than use a different device that meets the minimum requirements for the beta.
