XP is a resource that, quite simply, allows you to level up in mo.co. Leveling up enables you to improve your Hunter Level and maximum HP. You'll also gain access to new Worlds, Dojos, Gears, Projects, Rifts, and Titles when you climb through Levels.
Needless to say, gaining XP is incredibly important on your journey to becoming the best monster hunter there is in mo.co. But, how do you get this valuable resource? It's easy and doesn't require too much effort.
Best Ways to Get XP in Mo.co
Given that XP is such an important thing in mo.co, there are a few solid ways to earn them. This includes:
- Defeating monsters during battle: Eliminating enemies will reward you with XP. Naturally, the higher the monster level, the more XP is given.
- Completing Daily Jobs, Missions, and Projects: The most consistent way to earn XP is by finishing these objectives as they usually reward you with large amounts.
- Completing Objectives on the map: As you explore a world, you may encounter side-quests, otherwise known as Objectives, such as assisting Spirits or protecting Shrine Dancers. Doing so will give you XP.
- Finishing Elite Projects: The Elite Hunter Program will have Elite Projects that, when completed, will give you resources such as XP and Elite Tokens.
- Reaching event milestones: Various milestone tiers in time-limited event tracks can often award you with a big sum of XP.
Take note that you can earn a maximum of 60,000 XP per day. Once you reach that cap, you'll need to wait until the next day to begin collecting more.
How to Increase the Number of XP You Get
The amount of XP you get in mo.co can be increased with the Battle XP Boost. This Boost will improve the number of XP (and Chaos Shards) gained from battles and Versus matches. It does not affect the XP earned from Jobs, Missions, or Projects.
The Battle XP Boost ranges from 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x. You'll automatically have a 4x Boost at the start of every day. As you earn more XP, the boost decreases until you reach 1x. You can find a breakdown of this in the table below:

You can view the Battle XP Boost you currently have by heading to the Portal menu. The boost amount will be displayed in the top-left corner of the screen. It will be refreshed every 24 hours.
