A recent report published on Naver has sparked a stir online among fans of Cookie Run: Kingdom, as it hints at a major crossover event that's set to arrive in April 2026.

According to the article, the popular mobile RPG is preparing to collaborate with KPop Demon Hunters — arguably the biggest animated musical of 2025. It may potentially bring in a new wave of themed content, cookies, and events based on the movie into the game.

While this information originates from a credible Korean outlet, it’s worth noting that no official global announcement has been made yet by the developers, Devsisters. Still, if accurate, the coming months could mark one of the most ambitious periods yet for the Cookie Run franchise.

The report also outlines a broader roadmap for the Cookie Run universe. Following the collaboration, the game is expected to continue its narrative expansion through “Act 2” in May, which will further develop the overarching storyline under the theme “Timeline War of Destiny.”

Devsisters outlined an ambitious roadmap for the Cookie Run franchise at the start of 2026. Its strategy is centered around expansion and evolution, while focusing on growing the Cookie Run IP through a "multiverse strategy."

The roadmap also hints at new game releases, which include Project CC and Project N. Project CC is described as a "casual, easy-to-learn gameplay with Cookie Run’s playful humor and charm" that's set to be released in the second half of 2026. On the other hand, Project N aims to deliver a variety of "diverse experiences" set in an Unreal Engine-based Cookie World as soon as it launches in 2029.

The latest installment in the popular Cookie Run franchise, Cookie Run: OvenSmash, will be launched on March 26, 2026.
