The adorable slime-collecting hit is finally heading to mobile devices.
Slime Rancher will officially be released on iOS and Android devices on May 26, 2026.
The farm life simulator follows the story of Beatrix LeBeau, set in an expansive alien world where players can catch various slimes with their vacpack, tend to them, and improve their once-abandoned ranch.
Players can tailor their experience by selecting one of the three main game modes — Adventure, Casual, and Rush. These modes allow players to choose between a standard, peaceful, or challenging ranching experience.
On May 26th, drop everything, change your life, set out to Far, Far Range and become a #SlimeRancher on mobile!

The mobile adaptation of Slime Rancher, a collaborative project between Monomi Park and Playdigious, has been "carefully redesigned" for the platform.
It offers features unique to mobile, such as a revamped interface, cross-progression between Android and iOS devices, controller compatibility, and optimization for the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Players can currently pre-register for Slime Rancher through the Google Play Store or pre-order on the App Store to receive a 10% discount off the launch price (US$7.99 instead of US$8.99)
Slime Rancher was first released to PC and the Xbox One on August 1, 2017. It was later made available on the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. The release of a mobile adaptation would mark the latest expansion of the game's availability across a wide variety of platforms.
