A new death animation may be coming to Roblox soon.
Roblox appears to be experimenting with a new death animation, according to sources online. The new design will see avatars collapse, like a ragdoll, to the ground as a whole single body.
Implementing ragdoll physics would make for a departure from the current death animation, where avatars break apart into separate body pieces, which will then fall to the ground.

The new death animation is currently only available for testing in the Roblox Studio.
The community has voiced out its concerns about this potential change, with many players expressing statements, such as "They hate classic Roblox" and "They keep changing things we aren't asking to be changed."
It's not the first time the Roblox community has been upset about changes they deem to be destroying the "traditional" Roblox identity. There was pushback from players against the Rthro update, which saw avatars have a more realistic human-like design instead of the blocky aesthetic, and the dynamic heads update, which made heads support new facial animation features.
There is no official statement from Roblox about whether or when this will be officially introduced to the game.
