Ubisoft has hinted at a potential release for The Division Resurgence sometime soon.
After a long stretch of silence, The Division Resurgence is back in the conversation — and this time, it feels different.
A recent post from the game's official X account, simply stating "COMMUNICATIONS COMMING BACK ONLINE," has sparked renewed speculation that the long-awaited mobile shooter may finally be approaching release. While the post stops short of confirming a date, its timing and tone suggest that something substantial could be right around the corner.
For a game that has experienced multiple testing phases and shifting timelines, even a small signal from official channels carries some weight.

A Game Years in the Making
First announced in 2022, Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence was pitched as a "faithful mobile adaptation of the long-running and successful Division franchise" built specifically for mobile devices.
Developed and published by Ubisoft, the game promised a narrative set in post-pandemic New York, cooperative PvE missions, Dark Zone gameplay, and extensive customization systems.
Since then, the title has gone through several closed alpha and beta tests across select regions. Each test provided valuable feedback, but they also reinforced a lingering question within the community about the game's full release.
Ubisoft previously delayed the game beyond its initially expected window, and while the publisher maintained that development was progressing, concrete updates have been rare in recent months. That’s why this new tweet stands out.
A Full Release in the Near Future?
The recent post doesn’t confirm specifics, but it does re-engage the audience. That alone suggests that internal development has reached a stage where Ubisoft feels confident enough to begin teasing players.
A Ubisoft report outlining the company's third-quarter sales during 25/26 stated that The Division Resurgence "will be taking part in the franchise's 10th anniversary celebrations in March 2026." This statement alone suggests that the game may be released sometime in March.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm this timeline. However, they previously confirmed that the "calendar for early 2026 is shaping up to be full of exciting moments for The Division Resurgence." This could, yet again, be another teaser about the game's impending launch.
