With Asphalt Legends Unite having been released some time ago, new leaks and rumors have emerged about the next installment, Asphalt 10.

Asphalt 10 is the upcoming installment in Gameloft's massively popular racing game series, Asphalt. Its predecessor, Asphalt Legends Unite, was released in mid-2018 and it's still going on strong to date with new additions to the game such as maps, cars, and other features.
However, with the mobile gaming scene improving year on year, new possibilities are open in terms of graphics, controls, game design, and overall gameplay direction.
Players have been urging Gameloft to release Asphalt 10 for some time now. But, in true Gameloft nature, they have been rather tight-lipped about releasing information regarding this title. That being said, we've put together everything we know so far about it.
Asphalt 10 May Not Be Released Anytime Soon

There is no confirmed release date for Asphalt 10.
This may be disappointing news to some, but believe us, it's well warranted we say that. Asphalt 9 saw its first-ever expansion released in July 2024. This update saw the arrival of new features such as co-op mode and cross-play as well as a massive overhaul to the game's look and feel. The expansion also changed the game's name from Asphalt 9 to Asphalt Legends Unite. Overall, the game has been transformed into something completely new that you may mistake for an entirely novel release.
With that in mind, it does seem that Gameloft has its full focus on Asphalt Legends Unite rather than developing a new installment to the series. So, we could very well be in for a long wait until Asphalt 10 is announced.
Asphalt 10 Could Be Made Available on Other Platforms
Gameloft has often stuck with mobile and PC as its two primary gaming platforms. However, we have seen an expansion on this platform front with Asphalt Legends Unite being available for the Nintendo Switch players in October 2019. On top of that, we saw the game made available for the Xbox One and Series X/S in August 2021.
The sky is the limit for Asphalt since it continues to deliver high-end graphics and improvements to its already impressive racing experience. We could see the Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles added to the primary platforms of mobile and Windows with the release of Asphalt 10.
New Controls Are Expected to Be Added in Asphalt 10

We can expect a smoother, more graphically-optimized gaming experience in Asphalt 10. Advancements in mobile software and hardware since the release of the last title would enable Gameloft to implement smoother tilt controls, create new audio and haptic interactions, and develop other gameplay improvements for the game.
We saw an example of this innovation with the introduction of Shockwave Nitro to Asphalt Legends Unite. We can only expect newer and better controls to come our way in the upcoming installment.
Expect More Cars in the Next Installment
Cars are the most significant aspect of any Asphalt game. There are over 200 cars in Asphalt Legends Unite and the number can only go higher in Asphalt 10.
Gameloft has not been shy in adding new cars to Asphalt Legends Unite as they continue to collaborate with the biggest names in the car-making universe such as Lamborghini, Inferno Automobili, and Faraday Future. Asphalt 10 could benefit from these partnerships to deliver some of the most exciting vehicles to the game.
In addition to cars, more maps will be added to the game, including new regions and terrains.
